Jason Belmonte cut into Tom Smallwood’s big lead as qualifying ended Wednesday at the 2021 PBA Tournament of Champions at Bowlero Jupiter, according to results posted here at PBA.com. After Tuesday’s first two 6-game blocks of qualifying, Smallwood was averaging more than 262 and had a 211-pin lead over Belmonte, 3,153-2,942. After the third 6-game block on Wednesday, the 6-time and reigning PBA Player of the Year reduced that lead to 177 pins, 4,527-4,350, as his average edged up...
