Generally available COVID-19 vaccines seem necessary to start 2021 USBC Open Championships, Women’s Championships

When you look at the reasons USBC gave last July when it canceled its remaining events for 2020, including the Open Championships and Women’s Championships, it’s hard not to conclude that the 2021 Open Championships and Women’s Championships won’t start until a COVID-19 vaccine is available to any American who wants one. The best-case scenario is that if the complicated manufacturing and logistics plans come off as designed, that will happen in the spring. Any problems...
