Even with no Junior Gold in 2020, Logo Infusion still offering 8 $500 Dan Keegan Scholarships — apply now

Eight youth bowlers were to be awarded $500 scholarships as part of the renewal through 2020 of Logo Infusion’s deal with International Bowling Campus Youth Development to be the official jersey provider of the Junior Gold Championships.

With Junior Gold canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you might think the scholarships would be too, but that’s not the case as Logo said with this announcement at its website:
Junior Gold may be cancelled this year, but our scholarships are not!
Application due date extended to June 1, 2020!
Recipients will be announced on July 1, 2020 here on our website and on our Facebook Page

The application is attached to the bottom of this story as a PDF.

The scholarships will be awarded to a boy and girl in each division: U12, U15, U17, and U20.

The original deadline application deadline was May 1, but the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the deadline extension to June 1, which is Monday (postmark date).

The $500 Dan Keegan Scholarships are named in honor of the father of Logo Infusion founder Ken Keegan.

“We’re excited to extend the agreement with the Junior Gold Championships, and to also give back to the youth bowlers through the Dan Keegan Scholarship,” Logo Infusion owner Ken Keegan said in the original release announcing the scholarships. “The IBC Youth Development’s national tournaments are the biggest events in youth bowling each year and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of these outstanding competitions.”
