Any knowledgeable bowler who competed in the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships knew this year’s lane patterns were similar to the patterns used at both the 2018 and 2017 Open Championships. And if they didn’t figure that out from ball reaction, the scores showed the difficulty level was very close.
