Tom Hess came into Wednesday’s advancers round of the 2024 PBA50 Tournament of Champions with a 25-pin lead over Randy Weiss after the 16 games of qualifying at historic AMF Riviera Lanes in Akron, Ohio.
A solid, but not stellar 1,687 for the 8-game advancers round left him in third at 5,306, 62 pins behind Chris Warren at 5,368, a 223.67 average. Mika Koivuniemi was second with 5,332, Brad Angelo fourth at 5,206, and Dan Knowlton and Andy Neuer tied for fifth with 5,196 each.
